What we're working on
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center 7th & 8th Floor Renovations
The Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Nurse Station and Medication Room Renovation was a 4-phase project which included the demolition and upgrade of four nurse stations and medication rooms spread throughout the 7th and 8th floors. The project incorporated the remodel of various offices, work spaces, and bathrooms adjacent to the stations.
New Team Members Introduced to Management Action Program
A Management Action Plan (MAP) workshop was held for Pacific National Group's new hires. Conducted by our management consultant, Mr. Pepe Charles, the workshop explained in detail the vision, mission, and values of PNG while encouraging team building and effective leadership solutions. Every participant was able to build upon value and trust by identifying and evaluating realistic goals for himself/herself as well as the company.
Pacific National Group Welcomes Its New President
On January 1st, Mr. Steve Mathison became President and CFO of Pacific National Group (PNG). Mr. Mathison has worked in construction for nearly 30 years, beginning his career as a project engineer and project manager before joining PNG in 1993. Prior to his role as President, Mr. Mathison served as Vice President of Construction and Business Development for PNG.
Beverly Hospital Gift Shop Remodel
Pacific National Group recently completed a gift shop remodel at Beverly Hospital. The remodel included replacement of the existing HVAC system and improved interior finishes with a new acoustical ceiling system, LED lighting, and custom casework. One of the challenges in this remodel was to relocate an existing waste line that penetrates between floors at the center of the new space. We were able to successfully relocate the existing waste line without disturbing the hospital’s normal operation.
Pull Planning Workshop
PNG hosted a Pull Planning Workshop on 11/19 and 11/20 that brought together all the subcontractors for the Nordstrom South Coast Plaza project in a collaborative effort to make work flow more predictable and effective. Working as a team, we created movable weekly look-ahead boards integrating the “Last Planner” system.
